Board's Guidelines for the Safe Transition Back to Practice & FAQs
Governor Reynolds issued a Proclamation of Disaster Emergency that allows dental offices to resume elective dental care statewide, at 5:00 a.m. on May 8, 2020. The proclamation allows dental services to resume in Iowa in compliance with the Iowa Dental Board's Guidelines for the Safe Transition Back to Practice. Please refer to the following guidelines and the FAQs to find information about the requirements to provide dental services during the COVID-19 response.
